Small and medium-sized companies that are not in a position to hire a full-time CFO are often the companies that would benefit most from the expertise of an experienced CFO. Samarak Business Services was founded to meet this need. We can take complete responsibility for the financial side of your business, or we can function purely as your part-time CFO, managing your existing staff. Every business is different, and we custom design our services accordingly.

When you engage Samarak as your part-time CFO, you work with Dave Dunn, Samarak's President and Founder, never with an associate or subcontractor.

There is no charge for the initial consultation. We seek long-term relationships with small businesses, and are willing to spend time upfront to create these relationships. The decision to hire a part-time CFO is not an easy one, and we welcome the opportunity to help you figure out if this is the right decision for your company.

About Dave Dunn

Dave Dunn, President and founder of Samarak Business Services, has had extensive financial management and human resources experience in both the profit and not-for-profit fields.

Dave has served as the Vice President, Finance & Administration for Summit Software Company, an international software company located in Jamesville, NY, which sells its own software and works closely with Microsoft, since 1997. During this time Dave has also worked as a part-time CFO for multiple companies throughout the United States.

Dave received his Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and his MBA from Syracuse University. He is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Microsoft Office Specialist Expert with expertise in Microsoft Excel.

Dave currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Montessori School of Syracuse and serves on the Board of Enable, which provides individualized services to children and adults with disabilities.
